Agent 3.x 
With the Agent 3.x re-write and our port to wxWidgets, we need to re-design the translation tools. When we have these tools ready, we'll post a news bulletin and contact the Translation Teams.
Translation Teams
Forté and the Agent Community are fortunate to have the greatest users in the world.
Many of these users have independently organized teams to translate our software,
help files, and documentation.
With the assistance of these teams, we've launched the Agent Translation Program.
Our common goal is to translate all Agent resources
into as many languages as possible.
Over 1000 users have volunteered to help.
In the beginning, we are focusing on translating the Agent software.
In the future we will translate the On-line Help and User Guide.
As teams are formed, we will add them to this list.

Our priorities are driven by the results of
the Language Translation Survey.
Upgrade Policy
Translated software will always be a free upgrade to both Agent users.
After all, the real work is being done by fellow users in the Agent Community!
Besides, we believe it's an insult to charge users extra for the ability to use software
in their own language.
Translation Process
Each Translation Team consists of 2 or more people in the following roles:

| Editors |
The people who actually edit the source code.
There is typically one editor per group.
Don't worry, it isn't that scary - we provide you with a
Translation Toolkit that makes it easy to modify the menus, dialogs,
accelerators, and strings (or text).
To give you an idea, we have Editors who are musicians and veterinarians.

| Proofreaders |
Two or more people who verify the accuracy and completeness of the translation.
These team members ensure that there are no typing or contextual errors.
They also provide moral support for the editors!

When a translation is complete, the Translation Team releases it to the Agent Development Team.
Our Development Team builds the final program with the installer. Next, we release the build to
both the Translation and Agent Beta Teams for final verification. Then, we
activate a link to our download page for that language.

Support for Translations
At this time, Forté only provides Customer Support for questions
that are submitted in English.
If you find a translation mistake, please fill out a
Bug Report and we will forward it to the appropriate
Translation Team. Be sure to indicate the translated language on your Bug Report.

Look for new releases of translated versions on the Agent Development Alert or What's New pages.
