Agent 1.9 in Final Beta

Agent 1.9 is the first significant release since we re-acquired Agent from Genesys Telecommunications Labs (see this bulletin.)

There were several challenges to working on code that hadn't been looked at in-depth for several years. Most developers will tell you they have trouble working on code they wrote last month! In any event, we are happy to say we've got it under control.

The Agent Beta Testers (a group of over 100 extremely loyal users) have done a terrific job putting Agent 1.9 through the paces. The high quality of this release is due to primarily to their efforts. We'll release Agent 1.9 as a free upgrade as soon as we're sure it's working correctly. At that time, we'll provide download instructions on our web site.

After installing Agent 1.9, you will be prompted to register in our customer database. During registration you can opt-in or opt-out of the Agent mailing list. You will also have an opportunity to fill out a short survey that will influence our development decisions on Agent 2.0.

Thank you for your loyalty and patience.

Regards,

The Forté Team
