Agent 1.91 in Final Beta

Support for the new Usenet encoding algorithm, yEnc, is right around the corner. We expect the beta period for 1.91 to be 1 or 2 weeks. We might not make our original March 15th deadline, but we'll be very close.

We also believe that the 1.91 Beta will be very effective since Juergen Helbing, the developer of yEnc, has joined the Agent Beta Team. Our chief programmer, Mark Sidell, has worked closely with Juergen throughout Agent's implementation of yEnc.

Unfortunately, Free Agent users must wait for version 1.92 to get yEnc support. See our Product Road Map for details.

Regards,

The Forté Team
